R help - Nov 1997 - R-beta: R in ESS with different -n and -v arguments

Is there any way of running R in ESS using -n and -v 
arguments other than the default?

(For 'R-help' readers:
	ESS := Emacs Speaks Statistics is the successor of "S-mode for Emacs"
 and its new version 5.0  will most probably be released (as NON-beta)
 after this weekend.)


Yes, with the very latest prerelease of last night (what a timely question!),
you can do
	C-u M-x R
and then speficy the command line arguments.
