[Rd] standard install on OS 10.3.9 crashes on start without useful diagnostics (PR#8500)
Full_Name: Bob Donahue Version: 2.2 OS: Mac OS 10.3.9 Submission from: (NULL) (204.152.13.26) That's pretty much it. I did the most basic install possible, tried running the package through the GUI and on the command line, it crashed hard, immediately, with absolutely NO useful information as to WHY it crashed. To reproduce: 1) get the installer for OS X 2) install in the default places 3) run 4) watch it crash with no useful diagnostics
