R devel - Jul 2005 - Statistics (PR#8015)

When i install the software,it appears a language selection box, which contain
chinese and english. Then i selected english, but after it was installed, the R
is running in Chinese character with some characters are wrong. I dont know what
happens

This is not a bug! Before submitting a bug report. Please read what a 
bug is. If you are unsure or have a question, please ask on R-help!

You have not specified your Operating System which is essential for bug 
reports (although we know it is Windows, others don't have any selection 
box).


The selection box aims at setting the language for the installation 
procedure, not for running R.

You can set the environment variable
LANGUAGE=en

Please look into the archives of the R-help list. This has been 
dicsussed there before.
