R devel - Sep 2002 - 2002-09-08 1.6.0 build fails in Recommended (PR#1995)

in src/library/Recommended, make yields

make: *** No rule to make target `survival.ts', needed by `all'.  Stop.

this kills the build.  but "make check" succeeds

Did you run tools/rsync-recommended? (See
http://developer.r-project.org/devel-guidelines.txt)

(Vince, I'd appreciate a slightly longer fuse before having *changes*
in the build procedure for the development version show up on the
public bug lists. You might have asked R-core.)
