factorial() is not in R. It is in S-Plus with the definition

Very often it is really logarithms one should work with anyway, hence lgamma(). Now we would also `need' lfactorial() ..... Its not a bug, its a feature request. I've needed and written this simple
function a number of times and would like to have it available in a package.
Consequently, I'll add it the gregmisc package.

[Rd] factorial() not here (PR#1194)
Its not a bug, its a feature request. I've needed and written this simple
function a number of times and would like to have it available in a package.
Consequently, I'll add it the gregmisc package.
