R devel - Jul 2001 - bug in the interface of ESS, R for linux, S+6 for linux (PR#1028)

Object name completion doesn't work on linux.  On S+6 the problem
seems to be that ESS uses the argument `inherits' and S+6 is expecting
`inherit'

       . "assign(\".ess.lvsave\",.Last.value,inherits=T)\n")

R uses `inherits'

function (x, pos = -1, envir = pos.to.env(pos), mode = "any", 
    inherits = TRUE)
