For anyone wanting to try the release-candidate Windows version,
it is up at
http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/bdr/RWin/Rpre
Warning: this is cross-compiled and so lacks a few things including
CHM / Windows help and the bitmap DLL. The release version will be
natively compiled.
In particular, we would be grateful if anyone can try it on a Pentium
I/II/III on Win2000: we know there are problems on Athlon cpus on
Win2000.
