[Rd] X11 not present leads to compile error (PR#543)
Full_Name: Lars Vilhuber Version: 1.0.1 OS: Linux (SuSE 6.3) Submission from: (NULL) (148.129.143.2) Problem arises when X11 headers not present. - When running "./configure", X11 is not found, and "no" appears on the log messages. However, at compile time, the X11 headers are still referenced, and the compilation bombs. I presume that either configuration should end with an error message, or compilation ( makefiles or src files ) should respect the absence of X11 headers. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-devel mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !) (It certainly works with --without-x, and we would certainly be interested to know if that is actually needed.) -- Brian D.
