[Rd] Inconsistent behavior of par() agruments on lines() (PR#542)
Setting argument 'lty' via par() to dased lines does not affect how lines are drawn with 'lines()' -- they remain solid. Two possible fixes: 1) Have 'lty' affect the behavior of 'lines()' 2) Leave behavior as is, indicating in the documentation that the default is '1' and not 'par("lty")'. Note: Option 1 is more consistent with how the 'col' argument to par() is handled. -- Art Salwin salwin@mitretek.org (202) 863-2985 (202) 863-2988 (fax) --please do not edit the information below-- Version: platform = Windows arch = x86 os = Win32 system = x86, Win32 status = major = 1 minor = 0.0 year = 2000 month = February day = 29 language = R Windows 9x 4.0 (build 1212) B Search Path: .GlobalEnv, Autoloads, package:base -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-devel mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
