You still can't unlist() a regression object:

unlist(o)

ou
unlist(ou)
Part of the explanation seems to be contained in
unlist(list(1,2,3,4))
unlist(list(1,2,3,4,"a"))
unlist(list(1,2,3,4,x~y))
and also in
unlist(list(x~y))
