I am trying to run Puppet on a server that uses RVM for some other applications. When I try to run it I get this error: # puppet agent -t /usr/local/rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p194/gems/json-1.8.1/lib/json/ext/parser.so: [BUG] Segmentation fault ruby 1.8.7 (2013-06-27 patchlevel 374) [x86_64-linux] Aborted # /usr/bin/ruby -v ruby 1.8.7 (2013-06-27 patchlevel 374) [x86_64-linux] I find this odd as the /usr/bin/puppet file explicitly call /usr/bin/ruby and should not be picking up RVM versions of ruby. The fact that you see the correct version of ruby in the output before it aborts is even more confusing. Any ideas? This is our only server that uses RVM so I have no others to compare against. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
