[Puppet Users] dashboard: 500 error trying to view files
Hello, When viewing the details of a report, files that changed have two hyper-links, one for each version of the file. Clicking either of such links give me a 500 error (We''re sorry, but something went wrong.) How do I debug this issue? am running dashboard behind apache, and see no errors in the apache logs. In the access log I see: GET /files/show?file=7e8cf290bd3d88732e9ad446521b331f HTTP/1.1" 500 Thanks, Mohamed. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. I have this exact same issue. Report in dashboard says: Property Message content content changed ''{md5}fe0d954a385f75f6ee0cff5340d86b60'' to ''{md5}3315e40b701dff7d0b160d96b5dd8ac4'' Both hashes are hyperlinks. Clicking any of these results in We''re sorry, but something went wrong. We''ve been notified about this issue and we''ll take a look at it shortly. Apache log shows: [28/Apr/2011:20:02:27 +0200] "GET /files/show? file=fe0d954a385f75f6ee0cff5340d86b60 HTTP/1.1" 500 918 Running puppet 2.6.7 behind Apache with Passenger. Dashboard version in 1.1.0 Any help or suggestions on resolving this ? Re: [Puppet Users] Re: dashboard: 500 error trying to view files
I did some tests. When I change the content of I file for an agent. it gets bucketet. But not to the master! Therefor I had to change filebucket { main: server => “puppetmaster”, path => false } in site.pp notice: /Stage[main]//File[/tmp/puppet]/content: content changed ''{md5}5e3df20eb06b9724d92af840ee63712f'' to ''{md5}3f2c3763d1eaf85c32a95f12f129e482'' There''s an open issue about this. I still exists in 2.7.0 http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4781 I can see the contents of "FROM" on the dashboard now but the "TO" still gives me an error that something went wrong. {md5}5e3df20eb06b9724d92af840ee63712f<http://saawebprd05.util.ilcampo.com:8080/reports/5060#>'' to ''{md5}3f2c3763d1eaf85c32a95f12f129e482<http://saawebprd05.util.ilcampo.com:8080/reports/5060#> '' Guess we need to wait until this gets fixed. 2011/4/28 mawi <mwillemsma@gmail.com>> I have this exact same issue. > Report in dashboard says: > > Property Message > content content changed ''{md5}fe0d954a385f75f6ee0cff5340d86b60'' to > ''{md5}3315e40b701dff7d0b160d96b5dd8ac4'' > > Both hashes are hyperlinks.
