First, I''m assuming you aren''t using passenger or another
server.
Shutdown puppetmaster. Run "ps ax | grep puppetmaster" to be sure
it''s stopped. Then run the puppetmaster with debugging
"puppetmasterd --verbose --debug --no-daemonize". Then try to connect
to it. That might give you the answer.
