Puppet users - Aug 2007 - using wildcards on node

Hello,

Can I use wildcards on the node''s name/address? For example, I want
something like this:

node ''server-*.domain.com'' {
  ....
}

where ''*'' is a number. If this is not possible,
there''s another way of
reaching this behaviour?

No, it''s not possible, but you can use an external node tool (see
''external_nodes'' in the ConfigurationReference) to get
whatever
behaviour you want.
