Hello, I''m seeing the following when I run puppetd --version /usr/sbin/puppetd:157:in `require'': no such file to load -- puppet (LoadError) from /usr/sbin/puppetd:157 I thought upgrading ruby to 1.8.5 would solve the issue but it has not. In any case, here are the relevant rpm versions... ruby-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-rdoc-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-docs-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-ri-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-libs-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-irb-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-devel-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-mode-1.8.5-1.el4.centos ruby-tcltk-1.8.5-1.el4.centos facter-1.3.5-2.el4 puppet-0.22.0-1.el4 puppet-server-0.22.0-1.el4 Any tips from those of you who have installed on RHEL4 would be much appreciated. Best, Adam

Make sure you install the appropriate $arch version of puppet or the ruby library path will differ. /usr/lib/ruby/ or /usr/lib64/ruby/ under centos/rhel. Ben

The above problem is caused by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=203800 David
