Hello all, I think we should move ahead and split up kde.mk, into kde.mk (perhaps then push it back upstream) and debian-qt-kde.mk, where KDE team-specific packaging rules would go. Also, until upstream merges a system for handling uu-encoded patches, we should add a patched simple-patchsys.mk to our cdbs repertoire, though use it only with packages that need it. All this is available in SVN, in people/chrsmrtn/cdbs-experimental. PLEASE comment on how I''ve split kde.mk apart, in case I''ve put something in debian-qt-kde.mk that should remain in kde.mk or vice versa. If no one comments in a few days, then I''ll assume that everything is fine and proceed with what''s in people/chrsmrtn/cdbs-experimental. Cheers, Christopher Martin

E.g., apidoc infrasturcture was added to keg-3 this weekend. o [ .. ] || only used once in the cdbs mk files ==> if test ...; then... o .sgml manpages are always converted to .1 manpages. Maybe it''s true for all qt-kde pkgs, maybe dh_installman does not care and always uses .TH. Just want to mention it. Achim>[...] -- To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Unless anyone objects, I think I will move the apidox=20 targets to kde.mk. They are KDE specific, and if they''re of general=20 utility, it seems reasonable to place them there.> o [ .. ] || only used once in the cdbs mk files =3D=3D> if test ...; then...Sorry, could you expand on the problem here?> o .sgml manpages are always converted to .1 manpages. At the moment, we have no sgml manpages that aren''t=20 supposed to be .1, so it''s not a problem, but it would be nice to parse the=20 sgml files and extract the section, so in future we don''t have any=20 problems.
