I''ve made a little package for kde:
kshutdown - An advanced shut down utility for Linux/KDE

It is a graphical shutdown utility which provide usefull things shuch as a=20
clean KDE shutdown counter and many other cool features.

You can find it there:
deb http://www.cti.ecp.fr/~beauxir5/debian/ binary/
deb-src http://www.cti.ecp.fr/~beauxir5/debian/ source/

It is of course linda and lintian clean so that if you like it you can add it=20
to the kde 3.4 release..
