opus - Oct 2013 - Decoding multiple frames at once

Hello!

I am using a constant bitrate.
Now I have around 5000 sequential frames that I need to decode.
If I call "decode" for each frame, it is just too slow.

Does anybody know the best way to decode multiple frames at once?

To be more specific:

I decode 418 frames.
On a modern computer off the shelf (Windows 7) this takes 50 ms. Fine!
On an older XP computer the same operation requires up to 1000 ms (one 
second!).
This is too slow, and I wonder how I can speed that up.
