Hi all. I'd like to know if someone knows how to implement a banner to be prompted just after a connection to a server is initialized. It's necessary doing that to warm who is trying to access the server just for security. Regards, Glauco
if I understand you, you can do this in the sshd config file with the "Banner" option, it displays the contents of the file that you specify before logging a person in (when they're authenticating). -lev On Jan 14, 2004, at 10:21 AM, Glauco Marolla wrote:> Hi all. I'm wondering why this doesn't do what you want. "Banner /etc/mywarning" Banner In some jurisdictions, sending a warning message before authenti- cation may be relevant for getting legal protection. The con- tents of the specified file are sent to the remote user before authentication is allowed. This option is only available for protocol version 2. By default, no banner is displayed. - Ben On Wed, 14 Jan 2004, Glauco Marolla wrote:> Hi all.
