I have OpenSSH_3.5p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090700f installed on my
Sun 480R server and frequently get the following error messages in the
/var/adm/messages file.
Someone please help as to how I can prevent these messages from occuring and how
serious they are....
Mar 19 17:21:18 last message repeated 39 times
Mar 19 17:21:30 sshd[683]: [ID 800047 auth.error] error: accept: Software caused
connection abort
Mar 19 17:22:18 last message repeated 5 times
Mar 19 17:22:27 su: [ID 810491 auth.crit] 'su root' failed for oracle on
/dev/pts/30
Mar 19 17:22:30 sshd[683]: [ID 800047 auth.error] error: accept: Software caused
connection abort
Mar 19 17:22:58 last message repeated 3 times
Mar 19 17:23:00 sshd[29070]: [ID 800047 auth.crit] fatal: Write failed: Broken

I have removes the Company hostname for internal reasons....
One more thing to note is that this event actually occurs 4 minutes before
Oracle user actually logs out..... any similarities w.r.t this
host1# last oracle
oracle pts/31 10.33.12.182 Wed Mar 19 16:10 - 17:27 (01:17)
oracle pts/30 10.27.5.14 Wed Mar 19 11:47 - 00:39 (12:51)
Please help asap.
