When I try to transfer a 1.2G file over a 768kbps line with scp, it says
'stalled' 
whenever the estimated time left is over an hour. 
The connection is fine, it looks
like the stall check just uses
estimated time left instead of counting actual
transfer rate and then
accounting for the size.  This transfer should take about 
4 hours, but
after 2 hours it'd only done <10%.
