This is probably cross-project: Adapt sizes and speed units to IEC
binary units.

So,

should be displayed as

"100%  488MiB 11.1MiB/s  00:44"

Thanks, but the throughput meter is not that precise and I don't think
it's worth changing the output format (it's not unheard of for people
to scrape the output for transfer stats).
