I''m completely new to the technology, please bare with me :) I have installed build 78 on VMware server and in grub, selected to boot xVM. However, it doesn''t boot up. It got to the point where it says: WARNING: cpu0: failed to update microcode code from version 0x3 to 0xc SunOS Release 5.11 Version snv_78 32-bit Copyright 1983-2007 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms. It then proceeds to rebooting the system. I have read other builds where people suggested to disable cde-login. I have tried that already but the same is still happening. Any help would be appreciated! This message posted from opensolaris.org

Thanks.you cannot load Solaris xVM *inside* another virtualisation environment (VMware, in your case) and expect it to offer another level of virtualisation.
