virt-manager and virt-install can''t use with new built xvm 3.3
Hi Dave, I built successfully an xvm 3.3 system. However, I found virt-manager and virt-install don''t work. I attached the error messages of both as below. xm tool seems to work. I can run OpenSolaris200811 LiveCD and install it onto file based disk. I attached the error messages of both asDoes virsh work? Presumably not. Does logging in as root properly make any difference? Can you run: LIBVIRT_DEBUG=1 virsh list and send me the output? regards john

Unfortunately you need that to use the libvirt-based tools with 3.3. regards john

Re: virt-manager and virt-install can''t use with new built xvm 3.3
Hi John, Thank you for the information. Can you tell me how to update my libvirt with that under hg.opensolaris.org/hg/xen-gate/? I tried to guess some folder names, but failed to pull. Mark didn''t mention that in his announcement.
