Booting the Solaris 10 snv_75 DVD in a DomU running under a Linux Dom0
Hi, is it possible to create a grub entry on the Solaris installation DVD to boot the DVD in a DomU running under a Linux Dom0? To use the snv_75 installation DVD in a DomU running under a Linux Dom0 it''s still necessary to copy the x86.miniroot and the kernel to the Dom0 and bypass the grub on the DVD. I did some tests with interactive editing the grub menu after booting the DVD in a DomU running under a Linux Dom0 but did not get it work until now regards Bernd This message posted from opensolaris.org
