Ocfs2 users - Aug 2008 - Using OCFS2 with More than Two Nodes

Hi all,

I have ocfs2 atop drbd8 working perfectly and am very happy with the
results.  My only problem is that I can't figure out what method I should
use to export the device to other nodes a la GNBD+GFS - preferably without
the performance issues.  I haven't tried NFS yet but I would assume that
there would be entirely too much performance degradation (if it would work).

I'm partially convinced that I'm overlooking something simple - after a
long
day at the office I wouldn't be surprised.  I am eager to hear
everyone's
thoughts.

Define export?

Do you want the nodes to be part of a cluster? As in, want
local fs semantics across nodes.

If so, use a shared device that can accomodate more than
2 nodes. drbd8 is great for what it does but also limits users
to 2 nodes.
