Hello, I installed NUT on raspberry pi as a NUT-Server. It works fine so far with a Cyberpower OR600ELCDRM1U (used driver: usbhid-ups). The Pi recognizes power loss and shuts down itself and the ups as it should. Problem: The UPS comes up immediately after shutting down. This is a big issue because there is no power, the server (NUT-Slave) begins powering up and the battery will drain within one minute. The UPS should stay off until power comes back on line. Can you help me with this? Thanks a lot! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The instruction manual at https://www.montersi.pl/pliki/or600elcdrm1u-instrukcja-25681.pdf says Management Self -Test Yes Auto-Charger Yes Auto-Restart Yes ... so it looks as if the UPS Unit should be able to turn off the power outlets and turn them on again when wall power resumes. Do you hear a "clac" from the internal relays when the UPS turns off the power outlets? Roger

Is it possible to test the UPS using the provided software ? By the way, do you have offdelay and ondelay values in your ups.conf ? Roger PS: Please keep the list traffic on the list. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your reply.>> The Unit is new, the battery drains because it went down to about 15 >> percent before NUT shuts it down. >> >> Yes, I can here a "clac". What does the "clac" mean. I will test it again anyway and hear for the "clac".> Is it possible to test the UPS using the provided software? >Problem is, there ist only Windows-software available, there is no Windows-machine in my server-rack. Maybe I will have to get a laptop to work on it.> By the way, do you have offdelay and ondelay values in your ups.conf ?No, I haven’t. I just added. Should I add more lines here? maxretry = 3 [ups] driver = usbhid-ups port = auto desc = "CPS" pollinterval = 15> > Roger > > PS: Please keep the list traffic on the list. Thanks.Sorry for that, I didn’t notice the e-mail-adress. BTW: I testet the ups with the Synology-NAS in the meantime, running the nas as UPS-Server. Same behavior as with the pi. Synology goes to safe mode, turns off the ups. After a second the ups starts up itself again without power on line. _______________________________________________ Nut-upsuser mailing list Nut-upsuser at alioth-lists.debian.net https://alioth-lists.debian.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsuser
