You forgot to describe your issue. Closing as invalid. FWIW, NVCF (which is
what the 550 Ti _probably_ is) should be well-supported. Feel free to peruse
the current open bugs though (I seem to recall a suspend/resume issue some
people have).
Take a look at http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/Bugs/ for what sort of
information we need (in _addition_ to a detailed description of the issue
you're having).
