There is no pciid list in nouveau. Did you actually try nouveau ?

ummm... I guess not. I was using nv, I thought that that was the same as
nouveau. Given that it isn't, where should I file this bug?

Reassigning bug to Aaron Plattner from NVIDIA, who maintains xf86-video-nv.

On the nouveau side of things though, we'll be able to support the chipset
if
you provide us with a trace of how the binary driver configures the card.  The
