[Nouveau] [Bug 16077] New: X server crash DMA hang
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16077
Summary: X server crash DMA hang
Product: xorg
Version: git
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: high
Component: Driver/nouveau
AssignedTo: nouveau at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: nick at ukfsn.org
QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org
I occasionally get a server crash:
DMA queue hang: dmaPut=15, current=bc, status=0
I first thought this was Adobe flash related, as it has never happened with GNU
Gnash, but today it happened whilst switching workspaces in Fluxbox. It
appears to manifest after a two to three days Xserver uptime.
I run git mesa/drm/nouveau. Using kernel 2.6.25. Using git xorg from a few
weeks ago.
Any help to debug this further would be nice.
Thanks,
Nick

Attachments of Xorg.0.log and dmesg (with drm.ko loaded with debug=1) for the crash?
