Lustre discuss - Apr 2009 - Lustre Clients and OFED 1.4

I have heard that there are problems using Lustre with OFED 1.4.  Is
that on the server side and the client side?  Is it possible for Lustre
clients to run OFED 1.4?

I tried compiling lustre client against ofed-1.4 (voltaire) but did not
suceeded. Brian Murrel informed that ofed kernel 1.4 does not allow building
of external kernel modules because of a bug.
