Lustre discuss - Jun 2006 - increase in system hangs since upgrade to lustre 1.4.6.1

Since upgrading from the lustre components included with SLES9 sp2
(lustre-lite-1.2.6.suse.2-0.3.i586.rpm) to the lustre 1.4.6.1 
rpms, I have seen the number of system hangs increase greatly 
( 30 hangs across 150 machines in the past week vs. maybe 3 
hangs in a week prior).

All of the machines are ibm e326s with dual opteron 270s and 4GB 
of ram.  Lustre is running over gigabit. 

Any help/recommendations for troubleshooting would be greatly 
appreciated.
