I compiled Lustre with a vanilla 2.6.12.6 kernel, and it seems to work quite well, so far. However, I can''t seem to successfully export a Lustre filesystem via NFS using it, so I''m guessing that NFS export support hasn''t made it into the 1.6beta, yet. Is that correct? Are there plans for another beta with that support included in the near future, or does someone have a set of patches somewhere, or...? Also, when it does support NFS, will the quota support integrate with the NFS quota support? Thanks, Brent

Chances are it will not work, because rpc.quotad is a userspace thing that knows nothing about lustre quota ioctls. But as soon as somebody will teach it, everything will be fine. Bye, Oleg
