Lustre announce - Jun 2006 - initial SourceForge release of a Lustre Monitoring Tool (LMT)

An initial release of the Lustre Monitoring Tool produced at LLNL
is now available at:
    sourceforge.net/projects/lmt/

"LMT is a Lustre Monitoring Tool, a Python-based distributed system that 
provides a
"top"-like display of the activity levels of the mds, oss, and portals
routers of one
or more Lustre-based filesystems, within one gui interface (using 
wxPython)."

Please carefully read the gotchas listed in the README.lmt
before downloading and trying to make this work at your site.

LMT is actively being _used_ by LLNL, but is only being maintained and
updated as changes in Lustre require us to make changes, or for an
occasional bug fix.    We welcome development or enhancements by other
sites who have more time and interest in doing so.
