Hello everyone, [Reposting this as it seems my previous mail was not received.] My name is Nandini, and I'm currently a graduate student studying computer science at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. I have very much been interested in compilers, especially static code analysis and have undertaken the course offered for compiler optimizations here by Ramakrishna Sir. As a part of this course, I have been introduced to polyhedral compilation and I am excited to learn about dependence analysis and affine scheduling. I know Tobias Sir since last year when I worked on trying to improve the RegionInfo Pass in LLVM. Because of his esteemed guidance, I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to attend the LLVM Developer's Meeting in 2016, for presenting a poster. Since then, I've been really fascinated by Polly/LLVM and I would like to contribute towards its development through GSoC. Through this mail, I'd like to express my interest in sending an application for the GSoC '17, and I'm looking for possibilities to do a Polly/LLVM-related project. I would like to mention that I do not have any other commitments for this summer and if my application is accepted, I would be willing to work full time on it. I would be very much grateful if you would suggest me some of the open problems for a valuable proposal.
