llvm dev - Feb 2017 - Finding relocation symbols

I am trying to find relocation symbol for a particular target arch. Using
obj dump  with option -r and -d on the compiled .c file i get no relocation
symbols in the file. I  just wrote a basic C function call program. Please
guide
