[llvm-dev] LLVM (Informal) Social in Sydney, NSW, Australia
Hi llvm-dev, A few Sydney-based LLVM users and enthusiasts (including me) will be meeting at the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel at 5pm tomorrow Friday, 18th August 2016 to have a meet and greet. Please feel free to join us then -- we're going to make a call on whether to stay or go elsewhere depending on noise levels and/or availability of seating. :) If you'd like to be informed of where else we're going, please feel free to contact me directly (dean.berris at gmail.com -- I can provide my mobile number for easier coordination on request). Hope to see more of the lurkers there! Cheers -- Dean

We did resolve to get something more regular going, and will be working towards organising a meet-up where we can have more formal presentations and talks amongst users, developers, and other LLVM enthusiasts. We'll be sharing more as we get more definite plans on timing and a venue (and in case we get more attendance than just us 8 again). Nice factoid: 5/8 people there were using and working with more Haskell than C++. :) Cheers -- Dean
