Dear All, I am trying to build LLVM 3.4 on Ubuntu 12.04. The error message that I get is make[2]: Entering directory `/home/iiitd/build/projects/compiler-rt-3.4' Makefile:6: make/config.mk: No such file or directory Makefile:7: make/util.mk: No such file or directory Makefile:16: *** Refusing to build with empty ProjObjRoot variable. Stop. make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/iiitd/build/projects/compiler-rt-3.4' make[1]: *** [all] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/iiitd/build/projects' make: *** [all] Error 1 but when I check the files are in correct place. Can someone please help me rectifying this error. Thanks, Madhvi -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Hi Madhvi,> but when I check the files are in correct place. Can someone please help me > rectifying this error. What do you call the correct place? I'm a bit worried by that "projects/compiler-rt-2.4" line. I'd expect compiler-rt to live in projects/compiler-rt, regardless of version. I admit I can't explain the details of why you're seeing that particular error, but it's probably worth a try if you haven't already. Cheers. Tim.
Thank you so mouc for the reply. But Compiler-Rt in the projects folder only.
