I am doing some tests running llvm on an ARM board. I'm getting an error message saying: Unhandled instruction encoding format! My steps below: Code //------------------------------------------------------------ #include <stdio.h> int main() { int a = 1; int b = 3; int c = a * b; printf("c=%d\n", c); return 0; } run on device //------------------------------------------------------------- $clang -emit-llvm -c test.c -o test $lli test Any suggestions are welcome.Thanks. -- View this message in context: http://llvm.1065342.n5.nabble.com/Unhandled-instruction-encoding-format-tp47818.html Sent from the LLVM - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Hi Jim Thank you for your help. I also used mcjit, but the problem still existed. BTW, if i use the following code, there will be not any error. #include <stdio.h> int main() { float a = 1.f; float b = 3.f; float c = a * b; printf("c=%f\n", c); } Guanglei At 2012-08-03 00:53:24,"Jim Grosbach" <grosbach at apple.com> wrote:> >On Aug 2, 2012, at 3:38 AM, gaogao <gaogao_1983 at 163.com> wrote: > >> I am doing some tests running llvm on an ARM board.
