Yep, that did it.  Thanks!

I see about 1.35 seconds time improvement, with `supermin` from Git +
QEMU & the add patch[1].

I removed the initialization of Cycles::init (RHBZ#1319483), so it
should show some improvements in the qemu:feature-detect and qemu
phases.

Re-ran it with it this morning, result[1].  As you noted on IRC last
evening, indeed, I don't see any measurable improvement in appliance
launch speed.

    Without the Ceph build : 2.447361s
    With Ceph build        : 2.459696s

I ran the appliance a few times before posting these results.  Also, the
test machine where I performed this doesn't have an SSD.
