I added Cirros and /dev/root support in 1.17.12, so the first stable
version that supports it would be 1.18. Earlier versions of
libguestfs won't recognize this. It looks like you've got F15 which
has some quite old version of libguestfs.
This sort of thing is easily solved with mount-local ...
