Hi, I have Mandrake 10.0 gateway with internet via. ppp0. Also, another machine 192.168.0.4 is always connected to net via. a dial-up modem. Now I want to allow a machine (192.168.0.2) in my LAN to access net through 192.168.0.4. So according to lartc howto I did, # echo 200 John >> /etc/iproute2/rt_tables # ip rule add from 192.168.0.2 table John # ip route add default via 192.168.0.4 dev eth0 table John # ip route flush cache But still 192.168.0.2 cannot access internet. tracert shows that the traffic is coming to my Linux gateway and then going nowhere. I have not changed anything in 192.168.0.2 What steps am I missing? Waiting eagerly for any help on this. With warm regards, -Payal _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl http://mailman.ds9a.nl/mailman/listinfo/lartc HOWTO: http://lartc.org/
