We need a chapter on this in the HOWTO, obviously. Try turning this on:
CONFIG_RTNETLINK=y
bool ''Kernel/User netlink socket'' CONFIG_NETLINK
if [ "$CONFIG_NETLINK" = "y" ]; then
bool '' Routing messages'' CONFIG_RTNETLINK
tristate '' Netlink device emulation'' CONFIG_NETLINK_DEV
fi
This option is in Network Options, and then Kernel/User Netlink Socket on,
and Routing messages on as well.
