Icecast on my website
In that case you can't have the URL's you quoted. The easiest solution is to place a .m3u playlist on your website named stream.m3u and live.m3u, and in these files you enter the URL to the Icecast server. You can then link to them like http://www.radiodani.com/stream.m3u and http://www.radiodani.com/live.m3u Alternatively, you can modify your DNS records for your domain and add an A

Console
I am at my first steps with R... and I already notice that the console has a quite limited number of lines. Can anyone tell me how to visualise all the information, which is actually present? I only see the last part of the output, which obviosly exceeds the maximum number of rows in the console. Thank you very much for your help! Daniela [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

nls: "missing value or an infinity" (Error in numericDeriv) and "singular gradient matrix"Error in nlsModel
Hi, I am a non-expert user of R. I am essaying the fit of two different functions to my data, but I receive two different error messages. I suppose I have two different problems here... But, of which nature? In the first instance I did try with some different starting values for the parameters, but without success. If anyone could suggest a sensible way to proceed to solve these I would be

help with bivariate density plot question
Hi Spencer, I have seen your name on the web site, and perhaps you can help me with my R problem. I'm trying to use KernSur to put in evidence a substructure in a bidimensional plot. My problem is that, in order to get the density in the low density areas (in which the substructure is located) I should use different bandwidths. How I can do that? Also, I think that the best choice for my

Hi everybody! I was using the function pvals.fnc from package 'languageR' until April. I do not know which version. Yesterday I updated all my packages and tried to run my loop again. Now I get the following error message: error in pvals.fnc(mm, nsim = 1000) : MCMC sampling is not yet implemented in lme4_0.999375-27 for models with random correlation parameters I guess it?s because of

Server overloaded? Or is it a bug?
Hi all! I need your help. My server doesn't respond any more. Everything crashed. How can I find out if this is a bug or it is simply overloaded? I don't have much running, just KDE with about 10 programs on each of the 16 desktops, and a few background processes. This seems much, but I often have much more stuff running, and it is not even slow. It does respond when I ping it, but

Now playing (PHP example)
This php script is also good for displaying a now playing title on your station's website. It is not an auto refreshing script so the page would have to be refreshed manually by the visitor when the song changes. Script follows: <?php function getMp3StreamTitle($streamingUrl, $interval, $offset = 0, $headers = true) { $needle = 'StreamTitle='; $ua = 'Mozilla/5.0

tcl/tk return problem
Hello, I'm very new in working with tcl/tk in R and have a problem which will probably sound silly to most of you. Here is the code I have problems with: readcelfiles <- function() { require(tcltk) tt <- tktoplevel() tkgrid(tklabel(tt,text="Choose a directory!")) OnOK <- function() { fileDir<-tclvalue(tkchooseDirectory()) data.raw <-

R parser for If-else
Hi list, I don't know if somebody has spent a lot of time debugging strange problems with if else positioning - the parser seems to recognize only the syntax bellow - this is the only way of making these pieces of code to work. As far as i'm concerned, no examples were available (it would be so awesome to have them in the introductory manual!) #Try to change the placement of the

Strange things going on with 4.8
Hi all! I'm having problems no end on my 4.8-STABLE box, and I hope you can help me. My processes get lots of signals (mostly 6, 10 and 11), and my kernel dumps core very often. I have the core dumps from the 4 latest crashes. See attachment for more info. Notice the common values for IdlePTD and initial pcb. Does this mean anything? There are other problems as well: 1) Some time ago KDE

Trouble creating shared virtual folders
Hi all, I've tried to contact Timo Sirainen by dovecot irc channel but since I couldn't I'm trying the mailinglist. I've tried to do this with virtual mailboxes, but I had problems with permissions, I removed write
