I really did not to much:

(i ve only put out the ! from the line) and i get the
error, otherwise everything works cool. anyway i dont
need to bind, as you say.

Well, there's your problem. Removing the ! makes it no-longer
well-formed XML, so icecast can't parse it.

XML comments start with <!-- and end with --> (ignoring some quibbling
over precise semantics of where comments may end, which is rather
complex). If you want to un-comment it, you should remove the <!-- AND
the -->, not just a single character.
