hi, for those that havent tried the jack-ices combo that is available from Karl Heyes branch of the xiph svn ( http://svn.xiph.org/icecast/branches/kh ), I recommend it...it feels like a massive jump forward in streaming apps as it breaks down the barriers between 'player' apps and encoders....such a small step in some ways, but the world it opens up for streaming is exciting... Thanks to Karl and however else developed it :) adam
