Gluster users - Apr 2018 - Any feature allow to add lock on a file between different apps?

Hello there?

I want to know if there is a feature allow user to add lock on a file when their
app is modifying that file, so that other apps could use the file when its
unlocked.

You can use posix-locks i.e. fnctl based advisory locks on glusterfs just
like any other fs.
