Hi songxin,
>> 1.what is the different between runing "gluster volume

gluster volume remove-brick gv0 replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1 force
"?what the "force" means when "remove a brick"?
"gluster volume remove-brick gv0 replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1
does not make any sense. you need to give option while doing remove-brick for
eg: start|stop|status|commit|force.
"gluster volume remove-brick gv0 replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1
force " means that you are forcefully removing brick from your cluster.
hope this make sense to you :)
Regards,
Gaurav

Subject: [Gluster-users] question about remove-brick force
Hi,
When I run the command "gluster volume remove-brick gv0 replica 1
128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1 force" , it reture failed.
my question:
1.what is the different between runing "gluster volume remove-brick gv0
replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1 " and " gluster volume
remove-brick gv0 replica 1 128.224.162.255:/data/brick/gv1 force "?what the

Thanks,
Xin
