No.
Bricks are only used as storage for GlusterFS, not for users. You need
to access your volume through a client as shown in the documentation and
in the quick-start guide
(http://www.gluster.org/community/documentation/index.php/QuickStart#Step_7_.E2.80.93_Testing_the_Gluster_volume).
