[Gluster-users] What are the ".*.gfs????" files.
These files are results of failed 'rebalance' operation in 3.2.4 or below versions of GlusterFS. If you have the original file without the .gfsXXXX extension, then you can go ahead and delete them. -Amar On Wed, Dec 7, 2011 at 5:08 PM, Arman Khalatyan <arm2arm at googlemail.com>wrote:> Hello, > I have many ".*.gfs????" files in gluster partition on server. the > same file but without gfs extension I can see on another brick. > What are those files? > Thanks > Arman. > _______________________________________________ > Gluster-users mailing list > Gluster-users at gluster.org > http://gluster.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gluster-users >-------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I found .*.gfs* files in a volume after rebalance with version 3.2.5, so it doesn't just happen with 3.2.4 or below. I reported this and other problems with migrate-data separately in another thread (http://gluster.org/pipermail/gluster-users/2012-January/009343.html). Is anybody else having problems with rebalance...migrate-data in version 3.2.5? -Dan.
